Bhagirath Prakash Baria is Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Banking and Insurance at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India. A proficient professional in the areas of applied econometrics, banking macroeconomics, and agricultural economics, he teaches advanced courses in risk management and quantitative methods at the postgraduate level. His research draws from cutting-edge econometric techniques and has been published in Scopus-indexed and other leading journals. As an author of The Economics of Financial Services in Emerging Economies (Routledge), he curated insights from ten globally respected scholars, along with full-scale chapters authored by him. Dr. Baria has trained students, academics, and professionals in India and abroad, bridging statistical rigour with practical relevance. He continues to lead national and international collaborations in economics, finance, and policy, bringing methodological depth and a global perspective to every project he undertakes.
Ram Pratap Sinha is Associate Professor of Economics at the Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology, Kolkata. Renowned for his pioneering work in performance analysis of financial services, he has published over 146 high-impact studies on banking and insurance efficiency, employing both parametric and non-parametric techniques. With a distinguished citation record — over 600 citations, a high h-index, and an i10-index — his research ranks among the most influential in the field.
