About the Author

Cook, PhD, is a registered psychologist working in a private practice in British Columbia, Canada, with academic appointments at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia. Her work focuses on psychology and law. She received the Christopher Webster Young Scholar Award from IAFMHS.
