Hardcover in brown cloth lettered in gilt. 124 pp. with index. Very good, internally clean, nick to the spine side of the upper front cloth. Issued without dust jacket. The Revised Edition. A selection of wholesome games and programs for the youngsters. The main sections are "Social Leadership" (planning, formation, spirit of the leader, and some sample entertainments--mixed parties for 150 high-school aged guests; mixed party for 100 adults; "Stag Party" for 30 adolescent boys; "Girls' Party" for 30 guests. The remaining chapters outline numerous games ("get acquainted games", social games, quiet social games, competitive social games, social programs on special theme, etc.) playground games, athletic team games and more. If you ever wondered how to play "Slipper Slap', "Bean Dropping", or "Chew The String", this is the book for you.
