The Handbook for Girls in Scouting

This book is focused on girls in scouting.
You will learn about having fun while being safe, leadership as well as hygiene, first aid and emergencies. There is advice from how not to pee in your boots to how to choose the right sleeping bag for girls. How to avoid snakes and spiders, preventing blisters, take care of cramps, avoid the sun bleaching your hair, and choosing the right sports bra.
In this book there are hundreds of suggestions of how to do all things in scouting in an easier, down to earth, successful way. It is NEEDED by all girls (and moms of girls) that are in the scouting program.

"The Handbook for Girls in Scouting" will teach these ladies the important skills, methods and attitudes that they will use in the scouting program. It includes advice for sitting around the campfire, hiking, camping, and cooking. There is no other book that teaches them how to pee behind a tree, choose the right hiking shoes, or put your hair up for activities.
This book is focused on girls in scouting. It offers insights into diverse ways of approaching the scouting experience.

I wrote this book because it is needed. Abilities and skills are about the same for boys and girls, it’s just that girls do, and sometimes must do, some things differently. This book teaches girls the difference in methods and attitudes that will help them have a wonderful time and be successful in the outdoors.

The Girl Scout and Boy Scout mottos are the same, “be prepared.” This book is here to help girls be prepared.

The chapters include.
Just being a girl, Have fun but be safe, Hair and Fashion, Learn to be a leader, Spread the word, Hygiene, First aid, Emergencies, Going to the bathroom outdoors, Menstruation, Cleanliness, Bathrooms, Emergencies, Medication, First Aid, Clothing, Electronics, Camping, Hiking, Around the Campfire, Cooking, Traveling, Swimming, Water, Cold winter camping and Interesting Facts.

I want the girls to have fun in scouts.
You can't have fun if you don't know how to be comfortable. You can't have fun if you feel you can't succeed.
