Handbook of MIMO Systems

MIMO or multiple-input multiple-output is a wireless technology used to increases the data capacity of an RF radio by deploying multiple transmitting and receiving antennas. In a multiple-input multiple-output system, the data is transmitted from multiple antennas via the same path in the same bandwidth. This results in each signal reaching the receiving antenna through a different path leading to more reliable data. The receiver is designed to consider the slight time difference between reception of each signal, additional noise, interference, and even lost signals. Some of the typical MIMO configurations are 2X2 MIMO, 3X3 MIMO, 4X4 MIMO, and 8X8 MIMO. This book elucidates the concepts and innovative models around prospective developments with respect to MIMO systems. The ever-growing need for advanced technology is the reason that has fueled the research in this field in recent times. This book will provide comprehensive knowledge to the readers.
