His research is dedicated to further develop and validate hot form quench (HFQ(R)) Technology for use in the global automotive industry. Catalin has great experience in Microstructural characterization, Solid Mechanics, Fracture Mechanics, Tribology, Design Mechanics, & Finite Element Modelling determined both numerically and experimentally. He spends some time in industry to create high-integrity products for naval and nuclear application.
