vi 61 pages, 4pp adverts and advert end papers, engraved frontis, original brown pebbled cloth, upper board showing shooting scene and title within decorative borders in red and black. Chute's copy is in printed paper boards. A very good copy in an attractive binding. A scarce title, copies held in British Library and the Royal Library of Scotland and Cambridge, they give no indication to binding or author etc., The author comments on breech loader versus muzzle loader. "The author was one of the first to recommend grouse driving" Chute 472.
