Handle with Care: A Doctor's Search for Faith, Fact, and Feeling

"A fascinating appraisal of the contemporary medical profession." -Kirkus Reviews

IN THIS VIVID, CANDID MEMOIR spanning seven decades from medical school through retirement, Dr. Milton S. Klein offers a unique glimpse into the formation of a physician-a rare, gloves-off account of transitioning into the inspiring and exasperating world of medicine.

Handle with Care, with its lively, poignant, and occasionally raw and even ribald accounts of a young doctor's unromanticized journey, addresses the evolution of early medical education, leading to the new normal of the current day's doctor-patient relationship.
