About the Author
Eileen Mestas and her husband, Jerry, have been married for thirty-three years and live in Wake Forest, North Carolina. They had three biological children and were living the American dream, headed toward the empty nest, until God radically transformed their lives by awakening their hearts to the orphan crisis. They have since adopted five children, both domestic and international. They served in ministry to the Kolfe Boys Orphanage in Ethiopia, which resulted in another unofficially adopted son who came to the USA as an international student. Eileen is a public speaker and a passionate Adoption and Orphan Care advocate. She spends most of her days homeschooling their children and juggling the duties of being a privileged wife, stay-at-home mom, and grandmother to her three grandchildren, as well as caring for her mom who lives with them. Most importantly, she is a born-again Christian who loves the Lord Jesus and desires to serve Him with her life.
