George Bayntun, Bath, 1926. Hardcover. First edition thus, first impression. Waxed blue cloth. Gilt lettering to spine. Pictorial spine and upper board. Colour frontispiece. Illustrated throughout with monochrome line drawings. No dustjacket. Previous owner's bookplate pasted onto front pastedown. Previous owner's name at top of front free endpaper. Head and foot of spine frayed. 2 cm meandering closed tear to head of spine. Spine dulled and creased. Lower board slightly mottled, slightly soiled and partially rubbed. Endpapers lightly tanned. Overall, the book is in a good condition.
