Description: Dust jacket art is not credited; cannot quite make out the artist name in the artwork: W Russell (N.?); the last name is definitely not Flint. This is the second novel of Gwen Bristow's ''Plantation'' trilogy, which began with Deep Summer (1937), and concluded with This Side of Glory (1940). The three novels taken together create a colorful saga of the old and new South. This was originally published by Thomas Y Crowell. The only printed date is the original 1938 copyright. BINDING/CONDITION: green cloth, top edge color is dark -- a deep wine color; a Near Fine book, with a Very Good dust jacket.
