Iona Plath, professional handweaver, textile designer and teacher of handweaving, gives clear, precise instruction for each pattern, including yarn requirements. She demonstrates making the warp, warping the loom, threading, tie-up and treadling for floor looms with key for table looms. A chapter on 'How to Weave from the Patterns' gives all necessary instruction for working the patterns.
