About the Author
Justin P. Lomont, Ph.D. is Senior Scientist in Analytical Chemistry Enabling Technologies at Merck. He was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow whose doctoral research with the University of California–Berkeley focuses on organometallic reaction mechanisms using ultra-fast infrared spectroscopy. He lives in the Philadelphia area.
Ian C. Stewart, Ph.D. is VP Business Operations at Mariana Minerals. He was senior research chemist at ExxonMobil. He formerly worked with Nobel Prize-winning chemist Robert H. Grubbs and is the recipient of several fellowships. He lives in Northern California.
