Cheap production with paper tanned, covers chipped & crispy with a long closed tear running vertically close to spine rear panel; final 2 leaves with marginal loss (not to text). Binding nevertheless sound and interior clean and unmarked. The Canning section has its own title page (without publishing info.) and despite the oddity of pagination does not appear to be lacking leaves between title and p. 7. Perhaps the six unnumbered pages at rear "Ready Reckoner" were intended.
