Hard cover red flim coated bds with a picture of Andersen to upper bd in black, film is peeling at spine, hinges have closed approx. 1" splits at top and btm front hinge and top rear hinge, in dust wrapper with some wear/chipping to spine ends and tips of corners, contents clean and bright with lovely full pge illustrations in colour by Axel Mathiesen, pp125. Stories include: The Tinder-Box; Blockhead Jack; Little Claus and Big Claus; The Princess on the Pea; The Emperor's New Clothes; It's Quite True; The Fir Tree; Thumbelina; Little Ida's Flowers; The Elder-Tree Mother etc.
