Whitney Cunningham is a dedicated mental health counselor based in Boston, Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and their three children. With over a decade of experience supporting children, adults, and families, Whitney is passionate about guiding others on their mental health journey with compassion and care. Outside of her professional work, Whitney finds peace and joy in the natural world-whether she's hiking in the mountains, relaxing by the ocean, or exploring the spaces in between. She also enjoys staying active, baking sweet treats, playing games, and cherishing quality time with loved ones. Inspired by her deep love for her children and a lifelong commitment to helping others, Whitney wrote this book as a heartfelt resource for families navigating their own paths toward emotional well-being.

Lucy Huijser is a high school student from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she lives with her parents and three younger siblings. A lifelong art enthusiast, she finds joy in expressing herself creatively-whether through school projects or personal work. Beyond the studio, Lucy leads an active lifestyle, playing hockey and lacrosse, and spending time snowboarding and hiking with friends and family.
