He says: "... that any competent programmer would know by instinct...". This Ebook is NOT targeted towards experienced developers, but instead, the large group of people who need to learn Cognos as part of their job who are not experienced programmers. I.E. Cognos' primary market.Cognos is not a programming tool, it's a query and presentation tool. To use Cognos you need NO programming experience and I have taught thousands of people with that exact background. The majority of the people I have taught do not understand the things I cover in this book and that's why I have written it.
