Alberto P. Calderón (1920-1998) was one of this century's leading mathematical analysts. Michael Christ is professor of mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. Carlos E. Kenig is the Louis Block Distinguished Service Professor of Mathematics at the University of Chicago. Cora Sadosky is professor of mathematics at Howard University.
