About the Author

Harmon Higgins Jr., a retired steelworker, was born in Asheville, North Carolina in July of 1928. He was married to the same lovely lady for fifty three years and had one son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. Harmon was an avid fan of baseball, football, and loved reading books. He also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, and playing along with quiz game shows on television. He made his home in the Pacific Northwest, where he lived and worked for fifty plus years. Harmon always enjoyed spinning yarns for both family and friends. It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the passing of my Father. His fondest wish was, that, you, his readers, would love his stories as much as he loved writing them. God Bless.
