Hardcover with dustjacket, book has ownership stamps on the front and back end-papers and page 33 and no other flaws, the cloth binding looks new, it is clean and tight and the contents are fine, the jacket has mild edge-wear at the corners and a price in ink on the front flap, the jacket is clean and attractive and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, "The notions of the cadential formula, the sense of key, statement and counterstatement, the two-voice texture, phrase and period structure, and the melodic role of ornamentation are the primary features of this approach," illustrated throughout with musical examples; 336 pages.
