An early one volume edition of Frank E Smedley's novel. Undated, dated using Copac. Illustrated throughout with numerous designs by Phiz, aka Hablot K Browne. This novel is one of Frank E Smedley's best known works. It was first issued in 1855. This is a one-volume edition of the work. In a half morocco binding with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart with rubbing to the paper covered boards. Further light rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Bumping to the extremities. Light rubbing to the raised bands. Front hinge is strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Tidemark to the first few pages. Pages are generally bright with scattered spots. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 571L1
