About the Author

Malcolm Haslett was born in the Republic of Ireland and brought up in Northern Ireland. He has had a long career in international broadcasting, focusing mainly on Eastern Europe and East-West relations, development issues and the resolution of conflict. He lives in London and is married with three children.
