ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marti Livengood Goodwin spent forty years of her life on a small farm in west-central Indiana. During that time, the farm maintained both a poultry and sheep operation and produced the grain and forage used to feed its livestock.

Marti and her husband, Pat, took the knowledge they gained on the farm and became dealers of small-farm machinery in 2009. This venture quickly evolved into the creation of Tractor Tools Direct in 2012, America’s premier online source for small-farm hay equipment, where Marti serves as lead content writer and blogger.
