Hazel's Rainy Day Rescue: A Story of Teamwork and Kindness (The Hazel Adventures)

When a rainy morning changes Hazel's plans for a picnic at Sunshine Meadow, she feels disappointed. Hazel had been looking forward to a cheerful ride with Charlotte, Nathan, and Mackenzie, but the gray clouds and falling rain seem to have other ideas.

Then the friends notice something important. The rain has washed wet leaves, twigs, branches, and small stones onto the narrow country road. It is the same road Moss, the wise roadkeeper, uses to travel to Sunshine Meadow. If the path is blocked, someone may have trouble getting through safely.

Instead of giving up on the day, Hazel and her friends decide to help. With Mackenzie's safety cones, sturdy gloves, and little broom, the group works carefully one small piece at a time. Charlotte sweeps leaves aside. Nathan gently moves loose twigs. Hazel finds courage to help with a branch, and Mackenzie guides everyone with calm, steady encouragement. Together, they clear the road and discover that helping others can turn an ordinary rainy day into a meaningful adventure.
