War Inside my Head: Memoir of an Overthinker (Paperback or Softback)

"Some wounds don't bleed. They echo."

Lexie Laura has survived what most people couldn't even speak about.

In this unflinchingly raw memoir, she doesn't just tell her story, she opens the door and lets you feel it. From childhood trauma and abandonment to unspeakable loss, betrayal, abuse, addiction, and a house fire that claimed three of her children, The War Inside My Head is more than a memoir. It's a reckoning. A resurrection. A love letter to the ones who feel everything too deeply and keep surviving anyway.

Through poetic prose, unfiltered truth, and letters she never sent, Lexie takes readers through the darkest corners of her life... not to shock you, but to show you the strength it takes to keep breathing through pain that tries to bury you alive. She writes like a woman who bled on the page and called it sacred. She writes for the overthinkers, the outcasts, the motherless daughters, the ones still hiding under the bed, and the ones who wonder if they'll ever feel whole again.

This book is not about perfection. It's about presence. It's about naming the pain. Taking back the power. And learning that survival isn't just enough... it's a miracle.

If you've ever felt too broken to matter, too scarred to be seen, too shattered to be loved...this book is for you.

Because you're not alone.
