Heal Me Or Kill Me: What Are Intrusive Thoughts In OCD & How To Get Rid Of Them: How To Beat Intrusive Thoughts

Obsessions such as contamination concerns and those involving perfectionism are common obsessional themes of OCD that can manifest as cleaning, washing, checking, and arranging. However, some cases of OCD are misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and not always effectively treated, such as those involving the fear of losing control.

OCD breeds on fear which is irrational, thus the beliefs that it provides are also irrational.
Makes sense right.
The themes or the thoughts are mere media, a mere excuse that allows your brain to activate OCD (explained in detail in the book).

Those who want to overcome OCD have to realize that it’s a negative thinking pattern that formed into a habit.
This is due to the change of wiring in your brain which is called Neuroplasticity. And yeah it is possible to reverse this wiring.
If you can go from A to B, you can definitely return from B to A. In this case, you have forgotten the way to return.
Don’t worry this book will surely help you find the way. It takes time but it’s surely possible.
