Healing Scriptures: Jesus said ?If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.? God's Word must abide in our hearts for it to bring results.

In John 15:7 Jesus speaks these startling words: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” Upon reading them for the first time many believers excitedly reel off a list of all the things they want to happen and impatiently wait for them to come to pass. Then they don't. Time passes and these famous words fade into the background of our lives. Why? God's Word must abide in our hearts for it to bring results. It is not enough to simply know in our head what the Word says. This is why we have to meditate it, literally speak it continually. When we do this, sooner or later the Word will begin to abide in our hearts. That's the challenging bit. The abiding, it takes a lot more time and effort than most people realise. That's the reason for this book of healing scriptures.Martyn Shenstone has put together this comprehensive list of healing scriptures to meditate on everyday. This is so that you will be reading and speaking the Word so much that it will literally abide in your heart. You won't need to frantically repeat the Word or raise your voice in desperation to try and make something happen. The Word in your heart will powerfully and effectively bring to pass what you are believing and speaking for, regardless of the volume of your voice. The battle to do this is the most important battle any believer faces. It's the good fight of faith, a fight to keep your heart full of the Word and full of faith. All other battles are secondary to this one. If you lose this battle, you eventually lose them all.
