About the Author
Dr. Don R. Powell is the Founder and President of the american Institute for Preventive Medicine based in Farmington Hills, MI> Founded in 1983, the Institute has developed and implemented heatlh promotion programs and self-care publications fo over 11,500 organizations. A licensed psycholigist, Dr. Powell is the winner of numerous awards for his work in the health field and has appeared on hundreds of television shows including "good Morning America" and CNN. He also taught in the University of Michigan Psychology Department for eight years where he was nominated for the Distinguished Teaching Award and presently serves as a guest lecturer.
