Heart First

HEART FIRST: A 31-Day Devotional for Teen Girls Who Want to Know Who They Are and Whose They Are

Being a teen girl today is tough. Between friendship drama, self-doubt, pressure to fit in, and trying to figure out your identity, it can feel overwhelming. HEART FIRST is a 31-day devotional written just for girls navigating real-life challenges with faith, honesty, and hope.

Whether you’ve been bullied, felt misunderstood, or struggled to believe you're enough, this book will remind you of what’s true:
You are seen. You are loved. You matter.

Written by Barbara Nelson Bennett, an educator who’s walked with girls through the hard stuff, HEART FIRST speaks directly to the battles young women face—from insecurity to anger, temptation to forgiveness—and offers a safe place to process it all through a biblical lens.

Each daily devotional includes:

• A relatable message rooted in Scripture

• A real-life example that doesn’t shy away from the struggle

• A short prayer to connect with God

• Reflection questions to help you grow stronger, softer, and more confident in who you are

Perfect for girls ages 11–18, this book is more than just a devotional—it’s a daily reminder that you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Start with your heart. Let God meet you there.
