My Heart Is Home but Still Aches

Book #2 in the My Heart Is Home Series

What happens when grief changes everything?

My Heart Is Home but Still Aches is a deeply personal collection of poetry, reflections, journal entries, and faith-filled writings that explore the realities of grief, loss, and learning to trust God through deep sorrow.

Rather than offering easy answers, this book explores what it looks like to acknowledge pain, surrender control, and discover that God remains faithful even in life's longest winters. These pages invite readers into an honest journey where grief and hope coexist.

Through vulnerable storytelling, spoken-word poetry, Scripture, and personal reflections, My Heart Is Home but Still Aches creates space to grieve while gently pointing readers toward the peace and hope found in Jesus Christ.

If you are grieving, may these words remind you that you are not alone, your pain is seen, and hope is alive.

Content Warning: This book contains discussions of grief, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, chronic illness, death, and mental health struggles, including one brief reference to past self-harm and suicide attempts.
