The Heartbeat of Humankind

The Heartbeat of Humankind is a poetry collection written from the unique perspective of a healthcare worker. These poems are snapshots of the human experience-joy and pain, healing and disease, love and loss, life and death. It is a labor of love for healthcare workers who give so much of themselves to care for others. It is also an expression of appreciation and gratitude for the patients whose stories and life lessons have made a lasting impression. Whether you are a healthcare worker, a patient, or someone who has been with a loved one as they have navigated illness, you will be able to relate to these poems.
