Heartbeat

Heartbeat is a heartwarming story that compares a child's life to music - from the first beats of his heart in the womb and throughout the progression of each life stage, each milestone adds new notes to his life-song. Heartbeat is for any parent whose prayer is for their child to find and walk in his purpose while knowing he has the full support of his loving family.

Unique is a former middle school special education teacher, teacher mentor, and school counselor. As a teacher, she made it her mission to foster a classroom environment where students would fall in love with books. She has served children from Pre-K to High School and beyond.Unique has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Educational Counseling both from Azusa Pacific University. She also earned her Special Education credential from Loyola Marymount University and is a Teach for America alumna. Unique is originally from Southern California but currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and two children.
