Heartbeat is a British police drama series set in 1960s Yorkshire and broadcast between 1992 and 2010. The main village in the show is called Aidensfield, which is actually Goathland (also the setting for Hogsmead station in the first Harry Potter movie). This book is a wonderful "travel guide" for the Yorkshire area and its moors, hillsides, dales, and seasides, and contains many photographs, histories, and bits of area trivia. The foreword is written by Nick Berry, who played P.C. Rowan in the series.
