He was noted for his knowledge and developments in the field of rare books, including African-American material (University of Southern Mississippi Libraries website). GOOD condition. Center vertical crease present. Minor to moderate soiling to the covers, heavier to the rear, with dark offsetting along the rear extremities. Minor creasing and general browning.
