C P Kothandaraman, BE (Hons), ME, Ph D, FIE, MISTE, was professor in Mechanical Engineering at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. His subject areas are Heat Transfer, Thermal Science and Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Solar Energy and Bio-gas Applications. He is now engaged in providing consultation in the design of heat exchangers, dryers, boilers and dust collection equipment.
S Subramanyan, former Principal, PSG College of Technology; former Registrar and former Vice Chancellor, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore had his education at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore; Imperial College, London; and Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He had been a post doctoral Fellow at the University of Kingston and University of Alberta in Canada. He has considerable experience in teaching subjects related to Thermal Engineering including Heat Transfer. At present he is Advisor for several leading engineering institutions.
