Heathen Scriptures: Volume One

Heathen Scriptures volume one is a collection of 100 phrases on everything from business, to relationships, love, pain, and everything in between. These won't all be things you want to hear, but they are truths I've assembled from the collective spirit over the last decade or more and finally put into print. This 100 page booklet is designed in large print to be easy to flip open and quickly find a passage of insight. I hope this book might act as a faithful guide to those who walk through life by the lesser taken path.

What is a heathen?

By definition it means one outside of the traditional beliefs of the major religions, one from the wild places, someone unenlightened...

And yet what the definition has come to mean to me is not one who just finds their own way - they make it. Unlike so many religions, it is not saying this is the ONE way to believe. The heathen belief says ALL paths lead to ONE way to BE. There is good to be found in every step, do not deny it because you doubt the source.

While so many would argue over the name of a rose given to it by men long since dead -- we would smell the sweetness of the flower.

We are not lost, we have found ourselves.

A wanderer between worlds Hinsel is an artistic creator who has boldly explored the vast reaches of the blank pages since he was able to crawl. Mystic, shaman, smartass - many names apply to this wizard of words that dwells between the shadows of the digital world and those cast by stone.
