About this title

Synopsis

The Heavenly Arcana: Contained In The Holy Scriptures Or Word Of The Lord offers a dense symbolic exegesis of Exodus 30 and related rites, re-reading the altar of incense, tabernacle furnishings, and priestly orders as outward forms that signify inner spiritual states, heavenly order, and the process of purification and regeneration. The commentary often treats the Lord (Divine Good) and the Word (Divine Truth) as distinct but interdependent forces shaping heaven and hell, with human affections and thoughts as receptacles of divine inflow. Central claims include that interior life must precede external ritual; worship grounded in love toward neighbor and obedience to divine order surpasses mere rite. Through extensive symbolic correspondences—gold borders, rings and staffs, purification rites, spices and incense, oil and anointing—the text maps ritual acts to inner transformation, the union of truth and good, and the ongoing formation of the church, heaven, and the divine presence in worship.
