The Hebrew Foundations Bible: Interlinear Edition with Transliteration and Strong's (Volume II - Nevi'im Rishonim)

Most English Bibles tell you what the text says. They do not show you how the Hebrew works. The Hebrew Foundations Bible is designed to change that.

This volume presents the Former Prophets-Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings-in an interlinear format that keeps the Hebrew text at the center of the reading experience. Narrative sections that are often read quickly in translation are here slowed down and made visible, allowing readers to follow the language, structure, and patterns that shape the story.

Each Hebrew word is supported by a clear transliteration, a disambiguated Strong's number, and a concise lexical gloss. These features enable readers to recognize vocabulary, track recurring terms, and observe how meaning develops across the narrative while reading the text itself.

Unlike traditional study Bibles, the English translation does not dominate the page. A narrow column based on the World English Bible provides context while intentionally preserving the priority of the Hebrew text. This design encourages a gradual shift from dependence on translation toward direct engagement with the language.

The layout is built for progression. Beginners gain orientation, intermediate readers reinforce patterns, and advanced readers follow literary and grammatical features more closely. Over time, the reader moves from assisted reading to increasing confidence in the Hebrew text.

This edition also includes variant notes highlighting significant textual differences preserved in the Masoretic tradition, ancient versions, and modern textual scholarship. Introductory material and reference charts provide guidance on the Hebrew writing system, transliteration conventions, and essential grammatical features.

The Hebrew Foundations Bible is intended for students, pastors, teachers, and serious readers who want more than a translation-those who want to see how the Hebrew narrative actually works.

Volume II contains the Former Prophets: Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, and 2 Kings.
