About the Author

Barbara Bolt is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the Victorian College of the Arts and Music at The University of Melbourne. She is a practicing artist and her publications include Art Beyond Representation: The Performative Power of the Image (I.B.Tauris, 2004) and Practice as Research: Approaches to Creative Arts Enquiry, co-edited with Estelle Barrett (I.B.Tauris, 2007, paperback 2010).
