Very Good overall; four volumes have small tears and fraying to head of spine; minor rubbing/bumping to extremities; a few scuffs and whitish stains to cloth; else Fine. Bound in brown cloth with gilt titling, gilt and black decorations. All page edges have a form of marbling with irregular uncolored voids surrounded by very fine blue and black lines. A sturdy and functional set: internal hinges are made of cloth; spines and fore edges are well rounded. Pages clean and bright, and abundantly illustrated with engravings by Wiener Kunstlern.
