Synopsis
Hello From Heaven! is the first complete study of an exciting new field of research called After-Death Communication, or ADC. This is a spiritual experience that occurs when someone is contacted spontaneously and directly by a family member or friend who has died. ADC experiences are always initiated by deceased loved ones, without the use of psychics, mediums, or devices. They include sensing a presence, hearing a voice, feeling a touch, smelling a fragrance, seeing a partial or full appearance, visions, twilight encounters, sleep-state meetings, out-of-body contacts, telephone conversations, physical phenomena, and receiving signs.
During their seven years of research, the authors interviewed 2,000 people from all walks of life and many religious backgrounds in the United States and Canada. Through comprehensive interviews, they collected more than 3,300 firsthand accounts from people who believe they have been contacted by a loved one who has died.
The authors focus on the twelve major types of after-death communication people report, the messages they receive, and the effects on the experiencers' lives. They present persuasive evidence that ADCs are authentic contacts by deceased relatives and friends and discuss some of the far-reaching implications of their research.
Review
Bill Guggenheim and Judy Guggenheim interviewed more than 2,000 people to find firsthand accounts that met their strict criteria for spontaneous after-death communication (ADC). Hello from Heaven! is a trove of this firsthand data, but the Guggenheims' interpretations of it are what reveal the impact that such radical experiences have on the living. It's a scientific look at ADC for the curious or the skeptic and an inspirational work for anyone seeking comfort in the wake of a loved one's departure.
