Help! I've Been Seriously Injured : A Survivors Guide to Help Navigate Your Way from Trauma to Recovery

A Practical, Helpful Guide for the Injured

"This is an important resource for those who have survived serious injuries, their loved ones, and treating healthcare professionals. I consider this essential reading, and plan to have my students and junior colleagues read this book. There is so much helpful information to be had in a text that can only be written from a personal perspective. Often, injured individuals and their loved ones cannot anticipate or plan fully for the major life changes that follow a serious injury. There is just no way to really appreciate how different their lives will be. Kay's book will help decrease the confusion and frustration experienced by many, as they try to adjust to the realities of their new lives. Her writing is clear and her suggested tips are invaluable."

"This is a book everyone should keep on a shelf. You hope you'll never need it, but when you do, it'll be there".

"This isn't just a book, it's a BIBLE for the injured!
