Dark Brown full leather boards, spine and boards have been neatly relaid and repaired in the past, new epps, 'Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge' blind stamped to front, title on paper label to spine, decorative gilt bands and number 2 in gilt to spine, 479pp, orange crayon scribbled to pp20-21, grey sooty marks to some of pages, but text is clear, edges are darkened with some spotting. Small, torn hole to pp479 otherwise a tight, copy.
