New author Paul DeBiase was born on February 10, 1967, in Chicago, where he still lives. He is first-generation Italian American. His parents are from a small town in Calabria, Italy, called Cosenza. Paul grew up going to Italy every year and learned how to speak Italian. He attended Northwestern University Law School and opened his own law firm, where he still works today. Paul is married to a woman named Silvana who was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They have two daughters, Gabriella and Claudia, and they had a Maltese named Tiffany. Paul had one rule while his kids were growing up, no complaining. He taught his girls at a young age that they have the power to do anything they put their minds to and to always be positive and have gratitude. He wrote them this book as a college graduation gift. Although he might be an ordinary guy, he has some pretty great advice and he has the ability to motivate many.
