Henry Miller Collection of Three Works by Temple (each Inscribed by the Author to Arthur Secunda

Small Octavo. A fascinating collection of the writings of F.J. Temple on Henry Miller with the strong association with artist Arthur Secunda (1927-2022). Temple, Miller and Secunda were all friends. Secunda told me of Henry Miller's first art exhibit in Paris. He attended out of mercy assuming virtually no one would be in attendance. As he walked nearer the exhibit, he saw long lines of the French public who adored Miller's writings and now were eager to see his art. Third book: Henry Miller; Que suit-je? La Manufacture: "To Arthur le portrait de l'oncle Henry que j'espere ressemblant , love, Jacques. Secunda's art hangs in the permanent collections of MOMA, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Norton Simon and many others.
