Anne- Marie neemt afscheid van haar jongste zoon, Th�o. Hij gaat studeren, en na zijn vertrek zullen al haar drie kinderen het huis uit zijn. Het laatste kind is het verslag van de zondag waarop Th�o naar een eigen appartement vertrekt. Anne-Marie helpt haar zoon met de verhuizing en merkt dat ze zijn afscheid bijna niet aankan.
