This G book was published by New York Books in 1913. It has a slight lean, is moderately soiled, with all four corners very lightly bumped and with slight fraying at the top front corner. Head and heel of the spine are also bumped, with slight fraying. The spine and rear panel have a dark water stain--the damage is confined to the covers because there is no staining of the text pages (see photo). The front panel applique has very little wear and only tiny edge chips. The paper is moderately toned, a bit stiff but still reasonably flexible and not at all brittle. The hinges are tight, strong and completely undamaged. The story is 144 pages, followed by sections entitled: "Reptiles of the United States", "The Snakes", "The Turtles and Tortoises" and "The Crocodiles and Alligators". The entire book is 190 pages. The book lists through title #8.…
