This VG- book was published by New York Books in 1913. It is square, rather clean, with all four corners very lightly bumped and slight fraying at both top corners. Head and heel of the spine are also bumped, with slight fraying at the head. The front panel applique is clean with defacing of one of the figures. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. The paper--including the end papers--is moderately toned but still quite flexible and not at all brittle. The hinges are tight, strong and completely undamaged. The story is 144 pages, followed by sections entitled: "The Trees of the United States" and "Wild Flowers of the United States". The entire book is 188 pages. The book lists through title #6, the entire 6-book breeder set.
