About the Author

Bea Klier, a trained geologist, faced gender descrimination in 1937 and instead became a working meteorologist in WWII. Reaching 80 she entered another phase of her life by relinquishing full-time work and began writing stories. This is her first novel. She is now 99 and working on her second book.
