About the Author

Rabbi Hayyim was ordained as a rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary. He was the rabbi of Temple Israel in Albany, NY for over 30 years. He left an extensive legacy as a rabbi and teacher, which had a lasting impact on the Conservative movement. Rabbi Kieval was a Visiting Professor of Liturgy in the Cantorial School of JTS for over 20 years.
